Product Description:
It is a two component, polyurethane based, cold applied, flexable, dilatation and joint sealant with high mechanical.
Application Areas:
It is used in parking lots, terminal ramps, hangars, loading-unloading areas. It is an excellent joint filling material for places such as tunnels, infrastructures, bridges, canals and sewers.
Features:
• Elastic.
• Maintains its elasticity between temperatures of 40°C and +86°C.
• Cold-applied. Abrasion resistant.
• Self-leveling, easy and quick to apply.
• Very high adherence to the applied surface.
• Resistant to aging.
• Components A and B can be mixed in the appropriately sized container A.
Joint preparation:
The width of the expansion joints should be at least 8 times the calculated concrete working value. If this value is less than 7mm, the joint width should be at least 7 mm. In joints up to 13 mm in width, the joint depth should be equal to the joint width. In joints with a width of 13-30 mm, the joint thickness should be 80% of the joint width. In larger or false joints, the sealant depth should be determined according to other conditions. During the application, base material should be used in order to obtain the appropriate joint thickness. Thickness of the base material should be 10% more than the joint width and should be placed by compression. Tacking the joint edges prevents staining that may occur due to overflow of primer and filler material on the concrete surface. The tape should be removed immediately after the application.
Application Instructions:
Surface Quality: The application surface must be dry and free from all kinds of dust, dirt, weak and loose particles, cement grout residues, oil and grease. For concrete surfaces; The concrete substrate must be clean, strong and have sufficient compressive strength (at least 25 N/mm2), with a pull-off strength of at least 1.5 N/mm2.
Surface Preparation: The application surface must be compressed air holding, etc., in order to provide the highest adhesion strength. must be cleared using the following methods. The best adhesion is obtained by application with epoxy primer (by sandblasting).
Mixing: After adding component B to component A, mix for 2-3 minutes with a low speed electric mixer (maximum 400 rpm) until a homogeneous color is obtained.
Application Notes:
• Do not use below the minimum allowable temperature for the material to complete its hardening.
• Low temperatures will slow down the curing, while high temperatures will accelerate the curing.
• Pot life will also vary depending on temperatures.
• The product may cause skin irritation. Protective gloves, masks and goggles should be used. Before starting work, a protective cream can be applied to the hands. In case of contact of the mortar with the eyes, the eyes should be immediately washed with warm water and consult a doctor.
• Tools should be cleaned with thinner immediately after the application, before they harden. The cured polyurethane grout can only be cleaned mechanically.
• Do not add any foreign matter to the product. • Component amounts have been adjusted in moderation. Never use less of component A or B.
