Product Description:

It is a cementitious, one component crystallized waterproofing product. When applied on concrete surface on positive or negative sides the product provides waterproofing in depth by penetrating into concrete. The product provides high mechanical and chemical resistance on the applied surfaces. Chemical materials in its structure penetrate into concrete in depth by reacting with moisture and free lime present in the structure of concrete and form insoluble crystals inside capillary spaces and pores. It can be applied on new concrete surfaces. It decreases the duration of hydration and reduces shrinkage crack formation on applied surfaces. Protects concrete against corrosion and dilute chemicals. HITECH WP-AS700 fast setting mortar can be used in conjunction with the HITECH WP-NB 1K system to plug active water leaks in concrete and masonry

Surface preparation:

Surface to be applied should be wetted before the application. Wetting of the surface should be performed at least two hours before starting to application and surface should be saturated with water. If surface is humid or wet this process is not necessary. Surface of application should be cleaned of materials such as dust, grease etc. Weak parts of concrete should be repaired with by Repairing Mortar. Dilatations should be filled with Elastic Filler. After surface preparation mixture should be prepared.
Note: The surface should be moistened to the extent of water, during the application the surface should be moist, not wet.
Note: If the consistency is thick, it should be thinned with water, if the application is in the form of plastering, the water ratio should be reduced.
Note: A chipper type drill mixer tip should be used as much as possible.

Preparation of the mixture & application:

Application by bruchor sray: 6,7,5lt water+20kg powder clean water is poured into a suitable container.
While continuous mixing, HI-TECH WP-NB 1K (20kg) should be poured slowly and the mixing process should be continued for 5 minutes. The mixture should be mixed until there are no lumps.

Performing the application process:

- During the application, the appropriate consistency should be obtained by mixing without mortar frequently.
-The prepared mortar should be applied in 2 coats. The second coat should be applied in the direction perpendicular to the first coat and when the first coat reaches sufficient hardness without losing its water yet.
-At the end of the application, the surface should be kept moist for 4-5 days and it should be prevented from drying out. During this period, the surface should be protected from external factors such as sunlight, wind and frost.

Notes:

-The prepared mortar should be consumed within 40-50 minutes. Ambient conditions (high temperature, humidity, air, etc.) may shorten the usage time. Expired material should be discarded.
-In external surface applications, the surface should be protected from direct sunlight, rain and frost for 1 day.
- If the surface will be exposed to direct sunlight or traffic in applications on the outer surface, the surface should be covered with a suitable material.
-The applied surface gains mechanical strength after 2 days and becomes water impermeable after 7 days. For this, 7 days should be waited before it is put into use.

Shelf Life:

24 months from date of production if stored properly in unopened and undamaged original sealed containers at temperatures between +5°C to +35°C at dry conditions. Protect from excessive temperature and frost.
